Within 120 days of the contract end date, additional miles may be purchased at a discounted rate by visiting My BMW or directly with a Lease Loyalty Specialist. It takes a lot of research to know which used BMW models are actually worth purchasing and sinking money into. Most of us don't have that kind of time. With so many models, engine variants, and known issues to stay away from, you need to become a BMW savant to successfully wade the minefield that is the used BMW market. In general, the older, the better, and BMWs from the 70s, 80s, and 90s are now seeing their prices skyrocket.

It also adds a cool factor, which is why convertible owners gravitate towards the modern yet classic and sporty design that these cars display. Simply bring your sunglasses along for the ride, chin up, let the sun warm you up and get ready to smile at the camera.

When considering buying used BMW vehicles, car buyers need to consider all the features and components that can eventually break down. In addition to the engine, power steering, and transmission, you should look at the car's air conditioning, sound system, Bluetooth capabilities, and other features. These can be costly to repair or replace. So inspecting them thoroughly when looking at different models is critical to finding the right car for your needs.

The dealer should share any information related to the car's history and any accidents it's been involved in. While we're not saying a private sale is always going to lead to scams, you get a lot more assurance when buying from a licensed dealer. Even the most reliable BMW may not withstand the effects of a collision or other accident. You need to know the car's history to determine how much repair it might require in the future. Whenever possible, have a used BMW inspected by a professional with experience in working on BMW cars.

Regular maintenance can extend the lifetime of any car. As a driver, you want your BMW to provide the reliability and safety you need on the road. When you search for a used car, you want to know how expensive it might be to make repairs. This is especially important if you expect to be driving many miles over the car's lifetime. The factory service schedule can give you an idea of how much work will be required to get the best experience out of owning a BMW. But you should consider more frequent maintenance if you want to keep your car in optimal shape.

You should always be on the lookout for common issues that can arise in a car. This can help you take the steps to prevent them ahead of time and avoid more serious problems down the line. If you search for problems early, the repairs you need may end up costing you much less. A responsible driver understands the importance of getting any minor issues checked out as soon as possible. Common issues include overheating or coolant leaks left on your driveway. Every driver should know how to check for leaks as well as coolant and oil levels.

So, what does this mean for you? When purchasing used, you may be buying an older model BMW, which will have average levels of reliability. There's no reason to think you'll be buying an inferior brand that breaks down a lot.

You should always keep depreciation in mind when deciding what car to buy. As with other makes and models, the value of a BMW will drop over time. But many vehicles have a higher resale value than others, but higher-end vehicles typically depreciate much slower than others.

The vehicle's history will also play a big role in your decision. You can access information about the previous owner, past repair and maintenance services, and any accidents it was involved in. The more you know before buying a used car, the better you can determine which one is right for you.

The hood of the car should also be inspected. If you smell anything strange, it could be an oil or coolant leak. Try test driving the vehicle to assess the quality of the transmission. Does it run smooth? Or are there any rough shifts or loud clunks?

The BMW S 1000 RR is BMW's flagship performance superbike which packs otherworldly levels of performance. Outfitted with state of the art technology, the S 1000 RR is one of the top-performing liter-class motorcycles in the world, and comes with a laundry list of features that will surely put other sportbikes to shame. Powering this razor sharp supersport is a 999cc inline four-cylinder motor equipped with dual-overhead-cams, four valves per cylinder, and electronic fuel injection. It pumps out a staggering 205 horsepower, and is capable of achieving a top speed in excess of 300 kilometers per hour.

In as much as the S 1000 RR is a powerful machine, it's also a technological marvel. Equipped with BMW's sophisticated array of proprietary rider aids, the S 1000 RR is equipped with a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) which is able to analyze and adjust the bike's performance based on telemetric data such as pitch, yaw, lean angle, and slip angle in order to deliver the most engaging response to the rider. This much tech and performance is by no means cheap. In fact, it'll set you back a rather steep P1,895,000.

BMW makes one heck of a naked bike with the F 900 R. In fact, it's BMW Motorrad's most affordable big bike, at just P655,000. It gets a very compact, muscular design, a punchy engine, and premium features which have made it a massive hit all over the world. It features an 895cc parallel-twin motor that pumps out a hearty 105 horsepower offering a healthy spread of torque all across the rev range. Additonally, it gets premium features such as a full-color TFT screen, switchable ride modes, ABS, and traction control.

The next entry on our list is a motorcycle that needs no introduction. The BMW R 1250 GS is BMW's flagship adventure tourer which has been the reigning king of ADVs for several years now. The successor to the highly successful R 1200 GS, the R 1250 GS hasn't really changed much since its debut, however, BMW continues to innovate this machine in terms of sheer performance and technology. As such, the R 1250 GS is now more powerful, more versatile, and more capable than ever before.

Powering this heavyweight adventurer is a 1,254cc, liquid-cooled, Boxer twin-cylinder engine. Equipped with BMW's proprietary ShiftCam variable valve timing technology, the R 1250 GS pumps out a maximum power output of 125 horsepower and 125 Nm of torque. It transfers this power to the back wheel via a six-speed manual transmission. Apart from sheer performance, the R 1250 GS is equipped with long-travel suspension, as well as burly dual-purpose tires which lend themselves to all-terrain riding, and long-distance ability. The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure is available in the local market at a price of P1,675,000

On the outside, this 7 Series has the same presence as its predecessors, but the front-end styling, with its oversized grilles, split-level lighting, and unusual bodywork, lacks the grace of previous models as well as some of its rivals. Thankfully, there's plenty to like underneath, as the 7 Series offers two powerful gas engines, both of which use mild-hybrid systems to improve power and efficiency. A standard air-spring suspension delivers exceptional ride comfort, and rear-wheel steering adds a level of agility not found in the previous 7 Series.

Competition for the 2023 BMW X6 is really limited to the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and Audi Q8, which follow the X6's coupe-like roofline lead. In this select group, the X6 leans more into performance while the GLE focuses more on cosseting luxury and comfort. The Q8 splits the difference and adds an edgier personality. If you're drawn to the looks and are OK with the resulting drawbacks, there isn't a bad choice among them. If the low roofline compromises too much cargo and passenger space for your needs, consider the traditional BMW X5 on which the X6 is based. It's also available as a plug-in hybrid model. 041b061a72
